Hi, my name is Claire Griggs, and I received my Bachelor's Degree in Advertising from the University of North Texas. I graduated in May 2020 and am currently seeking an entry-level position. WEB DESIGN
OTA Compression is an Oil & Gas company in Dallas, Texas. I designed and built the entire site in under two weeks.
OTA has a wide range of services they offer and I wanted to lay all of the options out on this "overview" section of the page.
I made a Position Quiz for the SWOOP website, in order to help future SWOOPers decide what position they want to apply for.

ART DIRECTION
I am an advertising chameleon. I adapt to my constantly evolving surroundings by “changing colors.” I do this not to blend in, like real chameleons, but to stand out. Additionally, chameleons have very good eyesight, the best out of all reptiles. Similarly, I have the foresight to anticipate a situation and make a positive change before many of my peers have even noticed the problem. In hindsight, this chameleon metaphor is getting a little out of hand.
MersaTech is a fintech client I work with that processes credit card transactions for businesses. In this social media post, I wanted to highlight the features of one of their top-selling Point Of Sale processors.
The promotional flyer I created for a faux All-Bran ad campaign. The science fair was designed to promote healthy eating for young kids.

Crayola Crayons creative brief I created. I wanted the colors and typeface to reflect the creative and colorful personality of the Crayola brand.

COPYWRITING
I introduced the idea of "refined rustic" to the Oak Knoll Ranch which refined the brand. Refined Rustic gives off a feel of a "home away from home" and a place where dreams really do come true. I wanted to brand Oak Knoll as the ultimate Texas style wedding venue.
Print ad I did for The Old Warsaw Restaurant, located in Dallas. I wanted to show, through the visuals and copy, that the restaurant is the perfect outing for a romantic date.
